About the rides

  • Full details on the route options here
  • Our main route options are self-navigated and self-supported, meaning riders are given access to the routes, and head of to ride in what ever style and pace they want.
  • Alternatively sign up to a social group ride led by one of our GTRB Volunteers.
  • Road routes, Gravel and MTB all tailored for. Choose your preferred route option and join a ride. All routes will stop at our organised rider food stop or a cafe on route where you have a chance to meet and chat to others.

Recommended Bike

The most important thing is that your bike is in a good condition and safe to ride, we have routes suitable for road, gravel and mountain bike.

Bike tools and spares

Riders should carry simple tools and spares to take on their bikes whilst riding.

DEMO BIKES

We are excited to have REID bikes bringing a demo fleet, of which you will be able to book out bikes and take out on a ride along the trailway (book 2hr slots). This is suited to beginner riders looking to grow confidence. New to cycling? Don’t have a bike? We’ve got you covered.

A bike to borrow

The Yellow Bus Project and Bryanston School have kindly said they will lend us use their fleet of bikes for those who are unable to bring one based on a small voluntary donation. Helping to reduce barriers to entry.

Dogs

We know many of our riders love bringing their four-legged companions on adventures. However, dogs are not permitted at the Girls That Ride Bikes Summer Festival. This decision has been made following incidents at previous events and is to help ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all attendees.
